SANTA CLAUS ?
It’s always a good time to be dropping some serious hints about gifts that you might give and receive:
How about a ski vacation – or two?
Check below the schedule to see what discount packages we have available for lift tickets at local ski facilities.
"Did the trip fill up yet?"
.
"No, but . . ."
"Hey great, then can I give you a check and sign-up now?"
.
"No, sorry."
This “conversation” took place too many times over the past several years. We requested and received allocations of airline or bus seats and hotel or condo beds when we set up our overnight trips. But, for lack of timely commitments by our members, we had to pare down our allocations before well-advanced deadlines, reducing the available places or – worse – canceling trips. Don’t miss your tremendous opportunities to join us for some great ski adventures this winter. Note the deadlines regarding sign-ups and discuss them with the trip leaders. Make your plans early and budget your vacation resources. We want you to join us and fill our trips to Aspen/Snowmass, Holiday Valley, HoliMont, Okemo and Tremblant!
For more information on any trip, check the designated trip date(s) on the online calendar or contact the trip chair identified there.

AND DON’T FORGET OUR SKI CLUB MEETINGS
MYSC meetings are held monthly on the third Thursday of the month from August through November and January through April. Meetings usually include featured speakers and discussions of ski and snowboard opportunities.
The August and April meetings are picnic meetings at one or another of the local park cabins - for specifics see newsletter or online calendar.
NOTE THIS CHANGE: Our regular meeting site is now the upstairs party room at MacGregor’s in Penfield, 1129 Empire Boulevard, at the south end of Irondequoit Bay, phone (585) 288-8630. Many of us gather early for dinner while others just drift in for libations and camaraderie before the meetings, which begin at 8:00 pm.
